Fashions of the Ages LLC specializes in creating historically accurate and inspired clothing, corsets, wedding gowns and dresses, movie costume replicas, period undergarments and just about anything else that can be dreamed up. Our customers and clients come from all around the world with a wide range of needs. Sometimes our clients require clothing constructed with only historically accurate fabrics and sewing techniques, while other clients desire a period look without strictly adhering to authentic construction methods. Because each garment is custom made we can create almost anything desired. We're also available for personal fittings and design consultations for clients living in the greater Los Angeles area, and we are able to travel to other areas where this service is needed. Over the years we have collected several hundred antique patterns, with the earliest pattern in our collection dating to the 1850s. These antique patterns are frequently used as a starting point for garments we create from the Victorian, Edwardian, 19'teens's and twenties and going forward. All garments are designed, sewn and constructed in a clean, non-smoking, pet free environment. We pay the utmost attention to detail, all seams and edges are properly finished either by period techniques or modern standards.
