This lovely Victorian evening bustle gown was reproduced from the above photo of an antique Victorian gown courtesy of bustledress.com. This dress was made out of a rich amethyst colored satin with a contrasting pink rose brocade. Bodice is fully lined and contains spiral steel boning for support. Bodice neckline and sleeves are trimmed with antique crocheted cream colored lace. The bodice laces up in the front and grommets are covered with matching pink thread. Beautiful gold circular trim adorns the bodice and gown skirt. The gown skirt consists of three portions: the amethyst satin underskirt, the pink brocade apron and the amethyst satin cascading train down the back which is lined with the pink brocade. All three skirts are fastened onto one waistband which closes on the side with hooks and eyes.
