Our reproduction of the famous white ruffled prayer dress worn by Scarlet O'Hara (Vivianne Leigh) in the opening scene of Gone With the Wind. This gown is made out of lovely white fine woven cotton. Gown can also be made out of cotton organdy. Skirt has eight ruffled tiers that are each trimmed with lace and is over 250" at the hem circumference. Gown bodice is made out of fine woven cotton and is lined and interlined with cotton sateen. Bodice contains spiral steel boning for additional support. The front and back sections of the bodice are covered with rows of lace for a lovely feminine detail. This reproduction was made with small buttons down the center front at the client's request. Gown can also be made with small faux round buttons and hidden hook and eye closure at the center front. Belt is made of rich red cotton velvet. Two matching small hair bows are also included.
