This stunning sacque back gown is made entirely out of richly embroidered green silk. Gown underskirt is fully lined and has three rows of gathered eight inch ruffles. Underskirt is sewn onto a waistband which ties on each side with ribbons. Gown bodice and over skirt are also fully lined. Gown sleeves feature three tiers of ruffles: white cotton batiste, white Chantilly lace and green embroidered silk. Ruching trims from the bottom of the over skirt up the gown, around the back of the neck and down the other side. Back of gown has several pleats which extend into a short train. Stomacher also has a lovely figure eight pattern ruching. Neckline of bodice is trimmed with white lace. Gown ties in the back (behind the pleats), understomacher laces closed and decorative stomacher is fitted and pinned in place.
