Regal Renaissance gown is made from rich burgundy taffeta, gold brocade, gold satin and beaded cream silk. Gown underskirt forepart is made for lovely gold brocade and gold satin for side and back panels (not visible). Overskirt is made from burgundy taffeta and is cartridge pleated at the waist and trimmed with beautiful gold and burgundy trims down the center from the top of both sides. Both skirts are fastened onto a waistband which closes in the back with hooks and eyes. Square necked bodice is interlined with cotton twill and lined in lightweight cotton fabric. Bodice contains spiral steel boning for support. Center front of bodice is made of beaded cream silk fabric and is accented with gold and burgundy hand sewn trim. Shoulder of gown features lightly stuffed gold satin epaulets. Sleeves are two parts: outer sleeve is made of burgundy taffeta and lined with gold satin and inner sleeve is made of gold brocade with cream satin and pearl accents. Bodice laces up the back and has a modesty panel to prevent skin from showing. Hat is built out of buckram and wire and is covered with burgundy taffeta and accented with trims from the gown (click here for more information on hats).
